World Day Against the Death Penalty

It is observed every year on 10th October. It was 1st Organised in 2003 by World Coalition Against the Death Penalty. It is observed to advocate for the abolition of the death penalty and to raise awareness of the conditions and circumstances which affect prisoners with death sentence.
